Increase Your Resilience

Boosting our immune system is crucial as we go into Fall and the flu season. Taking a flu shot is certainly one prophylactic action we can take. Other actions have to do with properly ensuring a healthy diet of immune boosting fruits and vegetables such as sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli, spinach, kale. Protein, salmon, sardines, nuts and seeds and foods rich in vitamin C will all work to keep you healthier. Fear of catching COVID is ever present. This can deplete our resilience. We see our leaders, first responders, teachers, people all around us vulnerable and fragile to this disease. When the fear becomes debilitating it is time to seek help. Ruminating thoughts, nervous twitches and ticks, over eating or not eating at all,  depressed or suicidal thoughts are not normal. You must seek help.
